Suzhou Argo Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Argo), founded in June 2021, is China's pioneering commercial space company that specializes in providing optical primary payloads in as one of its main business. We boast a comprehensive R&D, design, production, and testing system for space optical remote sensing payloads. Based on independent intellectual property rights, featuring "time-sensitive, high-geometry and hyperspectral" imaging technology, we aim to develop optical payload technology and product systems that cater to diverse application needs. Concurrently, we offer constellation operation and data application services, aspiring to be a leading global provider of optical remote sensing payload products and services.
Our core business encompasses R&D, manufacturing, and sales of space optical payloads and high-end optical components; development and services related to "time-sensitive, high-geometry and hyperspectral" imaging technologies, along with sales and services of data products; and delivery of satellite system SAGIN solutions and offering turnkey projects that cover constellation design and construction, and ground system construction, operation, application, and services.
We have strategically positioned ourselves, with Suzhou as the headquarters and the primary hub for product development and constellation operations, Changchun as the center for product engineering and production, and Beijing and other offices as the expansion points, radiating our influence nationwide. The Suzhou headquarters, situated in Nano Polis of Suzhou Industrial Park, spans nearly 2,200 square meters. The Changchun subsidiary, located in the Special-purpose Automobile Park, Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone, occupies almost 4,600 square meters. The Beijing office, located in Tangjialing, Haidian District, covers an area of nearly 260 square meters.
We have more than 100 employees, with a core team all from the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences - the cradle of China's optical industry. This diverse team possesses extensive experience in aerospace model engineering, covering a range of disciplines including optics, mechanics, electricity, thermology, software, and computer science.
With years of dedicated effort, Argo has secured over 30 intellectual property rights, forming a comprehensive and strategically positioned intellectual property portfolio. This robust portfolio establishes significant technical barriers within the industry. Over time, Argo has earned multiple honors and qualifications, including the 2021 Suzhou Industrial Park Technological Leading Talent Enterprise, 2022 Suzhou Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leading Talent Enterprise, 2023 Suzhou Major Innovation Team, Technology-based SME, Jiangsu Provincial Private Technological Enterprise, Innovative SME, as well as GB/T 19001/ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification, GJB 9001C Weaponry Quality Management System Certification, and the winning prize of 2022 National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition Grand Final.
