[Jitian Vision] The Middle Reaches of the Yellow River: Water, Sand, and People Who Refuse to Give Up
The middle reaches of the Yellow River are the most “distinctive” section of the Mother River. Here, she sheds the crisp clarity of her upper reaches, embracing instead the gifts—or rather, the burdens—of the Loess Plateau. It’s here that she embarks on a journey marked by the most powerful currents and the most direct struggles. What we see is not merely the course of a river; it’s an epic saga of water, sand, and humanity—written jointly across time and space, a testament to survival itself.
[Jitian Vision] The Banks of the Yellow River, Upstream and Downstream of the Great River
The Yellow River: A Civilizational Epic That Has Been Flowing for a Million Years She sets off from the Yugu Zonglie Basin at the northern foot of the Bayan Har Mountains, embarking on an awe-inspiring journey of 5,464 kilometers that traces the “several”-shaped backbone across China’s land. Passing through nine provinces and regions, she nourishes a watershed spanning 750,000 square kilometers. While her fertile waters and soils have nurtured an agricultural civilization, her nature—marked by “tendency to silt up, to breach, and to shift”—has also tested generations’ wisdom in water management. Relying on its “high-temporal-resolution TDI push-scan imaging mode capable of tracking arbitrary curved targets,” Jitian Shuangxing has overcome the observational challenges posed by the Yellow River’s winding, meandering course. Through coordinated multi-orbit imaging, it is creating a highly precise, on-demand digital archive of the Mother River. The Jitian Vision—Yellow River Series invites you to follow the path traced from space, offering a bird’s-eye view of the natural wonders, human vitality, and ecological transformations along this great river.
[Jitian Vision] Euphrates River: Ultra-long Landscape, Curved, Non-Track-Based, Real-Scene Negative
July 29, 2025 One of the Jitian Dual Stars: Jitian Star A-03 (Suzhou No. 1 Satellite) Employing a high-temporal-resolution TDI push-broom imaging mode with arbitrary curved trajectories Duration: 47 seconds; single overpass curve imaging covers 325 kilometers Completed imagery acquisition of the critical river section from the middle to lower reaches of the Euphrates River
Congratulations on the successful launch of the Long March-11 Y6 carrier rocket!
At 05:01 on November 9, China’s Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center successfully launched the Shiyan-32 satellites 01, 02, and 03 into space using the Long March-11 Yao-6 carrier rocket from waters near Haiyang, Shandong Province. The satellites have smoothly entered their designated orbits. These satellites are primarily intended for conducting experiments in new space technologies. This mission marked the 606th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
