Strong Alliance, Building Space Dreams Together | Argo and Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics reached a strategic cooperation agreement in Suzhou.

On June 6, Suzhou Argo Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as " Argo") and Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics") initiated a strategic cooperation agreement at the latter's conference hall. This comprehensive cooperation encompasses complementary businesses, exchange of experts and talents, and significant technology public relations. In attendance at the signing ceremony were Mr. Shi Xinhua, vice president of Argo, Mr. Chen Chao, President Assistant, and Dr. Gu Mingjian, President of Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics, and the Expert Group of Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics, Yan Dapeng, and Zhou Chunyan.

The strategic cooperation agreement was signed by Dr. Gu Mingjian and Dr. Shi Xinhua, on behalf of both parties.
According to this agreement, Argo and Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics will strengthen strategic cooperation and coordinated innovation based on the principles of "strength in unity, complementary advantages, win-win cooperation, and shared development" and establish an all-encompassing, multi-level, long-term, and stable strategic partnership. This partnership seeks to identify cooperative opportunities in areas conducive to mutual development by leveraging the strengths of their respective business models. The goal is to jointly promote win-win cooperation, extend industries, and elevate technological advancements.
Before the signing ceremony, Dr. Gu Mingjian, President of Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics, conducted a tour of the company's showroom. Dr. Gu Mingjian introduced Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics as an open innovation platform centering on "government, industry, academia, research, application, and finance." This platform is guided by the national development strategy of civil-military integration, relying on the crucial needs of the state and national defense. It aims to industrialize scientific research outcomes, with a focus on fostering new technologies, business models, and operational modes in the satellite field. The company's primary focus areas include smart cities, smart oceans, network communication, data engineering, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, mapping, and remote sensing. It engages in in-depth theoretical and technological research, application system development, and product development, emphasizing fundamental, forward-looking, and strategic features.

Argo's vice president, Mr. Shi Xinhua, provided an overview of the company's basic information. Argo is China's pioneering commercialized space company that specializes in providing optical primary payloads in bulk as one of its main business. Leveraging its proprietary intellectual property rights in "time-sensitive, high-geometry, and hyperspectral" imaging technology, the company has developed an optical payload technology and product system to cater to various application needs. Concurrently, it manages constellation operations and data application services, providing comprehensive solutions for satellite systems. This includes a turnkey project package that integrates constellation system design, satellite development and launch, and ground system construction services. Argo is dedicated to becoming a leading provider of optical remote sensing payload products and services globally. Currently, Argo has established a business layout centered in Suzhou as the headquarters and constellation operation center, Changchun as the base for product R&D and engineering, and offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an and other cities as the expansion points.

During the meeting, Dr. Gu Mingjian and Dr. Shi Xinhua reached a consensus on behalf of both parties regarding deepening cooperation, enhancing communication and liaison, and leveraging industry advantages. The agreement stipulates that Argo and Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics will combine their respective strengths in markets, technology, products, resources, capital, experts, and talents. Based on their own technology and products, they will establish an in-depth strategic cooperation agreement on satellite remote sensing data service, the construction of an industrial space informationization system, and market development. This partnership aims to expand the application of remote sensing data across various scenarios, such as forestry, water resources, agriculture, and urban areas. They will establish a long-lasting and effective coordination and cooperation mechanism to promote development.

In the subsequent stages, both sides will implement the strategic cooperation agreement, leveraging Argo's strengths in overall space, commercial space optical payload R&D, high-end optical components, space data processing, and application, and Remote Sensing Cloud Dynamics' expertise in remote sensing data and processing and the construction of remote sensing data cloud platforms, and further strengthen communication and collaboration, enhance the overall technology and application level of commercial space, foster innovation and development throughout the commercial space industry chain, and jointly empower the healthy and sustainable growth of commercial space.
