On December 18, 2024, the Jitian Star A-05 satellite (named "Nanjing Xuanwu") jointly developed by Suzhou Jitian Xingzhou Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jitian Xingzhou") and Zhongke Ruige (Yantai) Technology Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongke Ruige") held a satellite launch and flag awarding ceremony at the Zhongke Ruige Ethereum Experimental Research and Development Base. Representatives of the satellite development team's technical personnel participated in the event and bid farewell to the satellite launch.
Jitian Star A-05 is a scientific experimental satellite that uses the Ruige Nebula 0A satellite platform system of Zhongke Ruige. Its payload is a hyperspectral camera, which can obtain high-quality remote sensing images. As the third satellite of the Jitian constellation, Jitian Star A-05 will operate in a network together with Jitian Star A-01 (Jilin University No.1 satellite) and Jitian Star A-03 (Suzhou No.1 satellite) in orbit, greatly improving the efficiency of space-based remote sensing observations. Based on the core technology of "high timeliness, high geometry, and high spectrum", Jitian Xingzhou has planned a remote sensing satellite constellation with outstanding characteristics and diverse means, which will deeply serve industries such as watershed management, pipeline monitoring, border control, ecological environment, agriculture and forestry, and can be widely applied in various fields of economic and social development such as natural resources, transportation, finance and insurance, smart cities, etc., effectively improving satellite observation efficiency and remote sensing quantification application level.
