Recently, Suzhou Jitian Xingzhou Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jitian Xingzhou") completed a Pre-A round of financing worth tens of millions of yuan. This round of financing was led by Yuanhe Zhongyuan, with Su Gaoxin Rongxiang, Baiyan Fund and other investors joining in. The raised funds are mainly used for the research and development of new payload technologies, upgrading production capacity, and daily operations of the company.
The field of satellite manufacturing includes overall satellite design, payload development, platform development, as well as whole satellite integration, testing, and experimentation. Jitian Xingzhou was established in June 2021 and is a leading enterprise in commercial aerospace optical remote sensing payloads in China. It was jointly founded by Academician Lin Jun and Dr. Zhang Liu of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Today, Jitian Xingzhou has a complete system for the research, design, production, and testing of space optical remote sensing payloads, and can provide various high, medium, low resolution, and wide range optical cameras for the commercial aerospace market. In terms of core products, Jitian Xingzhou has launched a range of aerospace optical remote sensing cameras, including the traditional 0.5m~200m resolution full spectrum, as well as a new type of "high timeliness, high geometry, high spectrum" aerospace optical remote sensing camera based on independent intellectual property rights. At present, Jitian Xingzhou has established cooperative relationships with more than 30 clients, including China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, research institutes under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, as well as private commercial aerospace companies such as Space Time and Elliptical Space Time. It has delivered more than 20 sets of optical payloads and more than 10 sets for orbital operation, with a success rate of 100%. In recent years, the company's revenue growth rate has exceeded 80%.
Jitian Xingzhou's unique imaging technology of "high timeliness, high geometry, and high spectrum" can improve the imaging efficiency of remote sensing satellites by more than 10 times, while effectively solving the problem of traditional aerospace optical remote sensing that cannot achieve both geometric resolution and spectral resolution. The company successfully launched Jitian Star A-03 (Suzhou No.1 satellite) and Jitian Star A-01 (Jilin University No.1 satellite) on August 29 and September 24 this year. Both satellites have applied the company's unique "high time non orbital one-time transit curve imaging technology" and "new computational reconstruction high geometry hyperspectral imaging technology", with good in orbit imaging quality, successfully achieving in orbit verification of the "high time, high geometry, hyperspectral" imaging technology.
In addition, while focusing on optical payload technology, the company continues to expand upstream and has developed various types of satellite payloads such as star sensors, high-precision fast mirrors, and high-performance turntables. These payloads are now widely used in commercial aerospace, military, and special fields.
