Jitian Double Satellite's in-orbit imaging exceeds 100,000 scenes! We invite you to create new value for aerospace data
2025-05-22
The Beijing Suzhou-1 satellite (Jitianxing A-03) and the Jilin University-1 satellite (Jitianxing A-01) are the first two satellites in the next-generation optical remote sensing constellation independently developed by Jitian Xingzhou. Equipped with independently developed "high-timeliness, high-geometry, and high-spectral" optical cameras, the satellites offer both conventional and in-motion imaging capabilities, with a ground-level panchromatic, multispectral, and hyperspectral resolution of 3 meters and a swath width of 15 kilometers.
Since the successful launch of the Jitian twin satellites (Jilin University-1 and Suzhou-1) in August 2024, these two "Jitian Eyes" have been in orbit for over 240 days, acquiring over 100,000 high-definition remote sensing images. If printed and stacked, these data would be as high as a 30-story building. Based on daily imaging volume, this is equivalent to taking over 500 ultra-high-definition photos of Earth, theoretically covering an area of 22.5 million square kilometers (equivalent to 2.34 times the land area of China).

Looking back on the journey of DoubleStar, from space to ground, from conception to implementation, the Jitian DoubleStar satellites began their journey in an orbit 500 kilometers above Earth, leveraging their "off-track single-pass curved imaging technology." They broke through the limitations of previous imaging efficiency, capable of fully capturing curved targets over 1,000 kilometers in a single pass, achieving imaging efficiency over 10 times that of traditional technologies and filling a technological gap in China.

The accumulation of 100,000 images not only bears witness to Jitian Xingzhou's technological breakthroughs but also marks a new starting point for its commitment to serving society. Adhering to the principle of openness and sharing, Jitian Xingzhou provides customized image capture, professional data interpretation, and full-process technical support for agriculture, environmental protection, emergency response, urban planning, and other fields. Whether monitoring farmland and tracking forest fires, optimizing urban layout, or assisting with disaster relief, Shuangxing's "space perspective" provides precise data support for various industries.
Jitian Shuangxing has already captured 100,000 precious images on its journey of space exploration. We understand that this is just the beginning; the future of aerospace technology lies in its deep integration with various industries. We look forward to collaborating with partners in agriculture, environmental protection, transportation, and other fields to explore innovative solutions for data applications. With data as the foundation and innovation as the driving force, we will jointly explore the unlimited potential of aerospace technology in real-world scenarios!
