2025-05-17
At 12:12 Beijing time on May 17, 2025, Suzhou Jitian Xingzhou Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jitian Xingzhou") launched a 5m resolution visible light multispectral wide-band camera along with the "Tianyi 35" satellite at the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Experimental Area by the improved Suzaku-2 Yao-2 carrier rocket. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit, all telemetry parameters were normal, and the satellite sails and antennas were successfully deployed. This launch mission was a complete success!

Tianyi-35 is a multispectral, intelligent remote sensing satellite for ecological and environmental monitoring, developed by Nanchang Hangkong University. The satellite's onboard 5m-resolution visible light multispectral wide-band camera was developed and manufactured by Jitian Xingzhou. This camera utilizes an advanced off-axis three-mirror optical system. By meticulously optimizing optical parameters such as focal length, field of view, F-number, aperture, spectral range, and spectral band selection, it comprehensively enhances imaging performance and quality.

The 5m-resolution visible light multispectral wide-format camera JTVM8-5MWH is a medium-resolution, wide-format aerospace Earth observation optical camera product. It features high imaging quality and a high overall cost-effectiveness. It can be used in land surveying and resource investigation, agricultural and rural monitoring, ecological and environmental protection, urban planning and management, emergency response and disaster assessment, and other medium-resolution remote sensing monitoring and regional coverage applications.
