Auspicious Stars | Bright Pearl on the Belt and Road in the New Era
2024-12-06
Suzhou No.1 Satellite (Jitian Star A-03) and Jilin University No.1 Satellite (Jitian Star A-01) are the new generation optical remote sensing satellites independently developed by Suzhou Jitian Xingzhou Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jitian Xingzhou), and are also the first two optical stars of Jitian Xingzhou's optical remote sensing experimental constellation. The satellite is equipped with Jitian Xingzhou's innovative optical camera with core intellectual property rights of "high timeliness, high geometry, and high spectrum", which has conventional imaging and dynamic imaging capabilities. The visible light/high spectrum ground resolution is 3m and the width is 15km. The two satellites have the same technical status and both use a solar synchronous orbit with orbital heights of 535km and 500km, respectively. The local time at the descending node is 13:30 and 10:30, respectively. After rigorous in orbit testing and optimization, Jitian Double Star has obtained over 20000 high-resolution and high-quality remote sensing images.
In this issue of Star News, we will first introduce the important port of Gwadar, known as the crown jewel of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Gwadar Port is located on the southwestern border of Pakistan, on the coast of the Arabian Sea. It is a natural deep-water ice free port, situated at the intersection of the Middle East and South Asia, and only 400 kilometers away from the world's main oil shipping route, the Strait of Hormuz; As a landmark project under the "the Belt and Road" initiative, it has important strategic significance for China, can enhance China's competitiveness in global trade, and promote regional economic integration and globalization.
By 2024, the "the Belt and Road" initiative has covered more than 140 countries and regions, including not only traditional partners in Asia and Europe, but also many countries and regions in Africa, Latin America and Oceania. Among them, Kuwait is a small country in the Middle East, located in the northeast of the Arabian Peninsula, along the Persian Gulf, and facing Iran in the east. As the trade center of the Middle East, Kuwait has an important strategic position in the "the Belt and Road" initiative.
Uzbekistan (capital Tashkent) is an important transportation hub for economic and trade exchanges between Central Asia and China. By strengthening infrastructure construction and energy cooperation, Uzbekistan's bilateral cooperation with China has deepened, providing important support for the successful implementation of the "the Belt and Road" initiative.
The road is underfoot, the dream is ahead. Ji Tianxingzhou will work with the motherland to witness China joining hands with the world, promote the high-quality development of the "the Belt and Road", and jointly paint a beautiful picture of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
