On December 2-3, 2024, the 4th National Conference on Space Information Industry and International Standardization, as well as the Investment Promotion Conference for Space Information Industry, jointly organized by the China National Committee of the International Digital Earth Society, Shenzhen University, and the Dapeng New Area Management Committee of Shenzhen, was successfully held in Dapeng New Area, Shenzhen. Suzhou Jitian Xingzhou Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jitian Xingzhou), as a leading enterprise in the field of commercial aerospace optical remote sensing payloads, made an appearance at this conference with its outstanding innovative technology and equipment.
The purpose of this conference is to better promote the deep integration of the space information industry with various industries and fields, explore technological innovation and industrial development of the space information industry, exchange the latest application achievements of the space information industry, accelerate the application and development of the space information industry in various fields, promote standardization work in the international and domestic space information field, assist the development of the aerospace industry in Dapeng New Area, and promote the construction of a digital China. About 300 people attended the meeting, including leaders of Dapeng New Area He Zhimei and Li Yunyuan, academicians Li Qingquan from Shenzhen University and Lin Lin from Shenzhen Ocean University, experts and scholars in the field of spatial information industry, representatives of relevant functional departments at the municipal level in Shenzhen and Dapeng New Area, and responsible personnel from relevant enterprises. Academician Guo Huadong, Chairman of the Chinese National Committee of the International Digital Earth Society, delivered a speech at the conference via video, while Academician Gong Jianya from Wuhan University gave a report via video link.
On the first day of the conference, the opening ceremony, conference report, and commercial aerospace roundtable exchange were held. The next day, 13 sub sessions were held, including Smart Cities and Digital Twins, Artificial Intelligence Big Data Analysis, Commercial Aerospace, and International and Domestic Geographic Information Standards. At the opening ceremony of the conference, relevant departments of the Dapeng New Area government signed cooperation framework agreements with 13 enterprises including Jitian Xingzhou, with an intended investment of nearly 2 billion yuan. The contracted enterprises cover areas such as satellite research and development, satellite operation, satellite applications, and commercial aerospace. They will promote the construction of an innovative application ecosystem in Dapeng New Area, including "satellite+" low altitude economy, smart ocean, smart cultural tourism, and security emergency, and create a global innovation highland for satellite and application industries.
At the commercial aerospace roundtable exchange session, Shi Xinhua, Vice President of Jitian Xingzhou, and other guests had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the development process, situation requirements, industry landing, future prospects, etc. of commercial aerospace, further consolidating consensus on the development of strategic emerging industries in commercial aerospace and boosting confidence.
At the meeting, Vice President Shi Xinhua delivered a keynote speech on "Three Highs" Imaging Technology Helps Commercial Aerospace Remote Sensing Innovation ", focusing on the current status and trends of the development of the domestic commercial aerospace industry, sharing the company's independently innovated" high timeliness, high geometry, and high spectrum "imaging technology, and putting forward thoughts and suggestions for industry development.
